Nathan Reising is a Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter. His upcoming release, The Hours, is a collection of songs featuring entrancing, intimate vocals by multi-instrumentalist Sarah Rossy and lush horn/woodwind chorales backed by a jazz-inspired rhythm section. He is best known for his work as a sideman on alto saxophone in numerous jazz groups in the NYC area, most notably as a member of the Tyshawn Sorey Sextet. The group's record "Unfiltered" was released in March of 2020, one week before the Covid-19 lockdown.
