Niklas Paschburg is a composer, pianist, and producer from Hamburg, Germany. He began studying piano in primary school. His grandfather, a captain who traveled the world with a Hohner accordion, passed it down to Niklas—who later used it in recordings and performances. As a teenager, Niklas developed a passion for electronic music and began composing, blending classical piano with a modern production approach. He later lived in a small artist commune with Hannes Kretzer, who had just founded Unperceived Records. There, Niklas released his debut EP Tuur mang Welten, a standout in the “Neo-Contemporary” movement. The EP caught the attention of 7K! Records, who released his next three albums—Oceanic (2018), Svalbard (2020), and Panta Rhei (2023)—earning him international acclaim and extensive touring across Europe. He has also produced remixes for artists such as Ásgeir , The Slow Show , @RY X , and Nils Hoffmann. 2025 marks a creative turning point. Following the release of his ambient EP Mexican Alps —conceived in Mexico and Switzerland—he toured Europe with an immersive live setup. Now, Niklas begins a new chapter with a solo piano tour launching this November, alongside upcoming new releases.
