Obseth

Obseth is the project of Víctor Alvar, a producer and DJ born in A Coruña and based in Amsterdam. Deeply influenced by 90s electronic music, his style is defined by relentless, hypnotic, and uncompromising techno, a sound that revives the essence of the past while reimagining it through a contemporary and distinctive lens. Over the years, his music has resonated across numerous national and international labels, earning the support of key figures in the scene such as Ben Sims, Richie Hawtin, DVS1 and Setaoc Mass, among many others. His sound—raw, visceral, and unapologetically underground—reflects the most authentic side of contemporary electronic music. As a DJ, Obseth is known for his technical precision and sonic storytelling, qualities that have led him to share the booth with top-tier artists including Chlär, The Lady Machine, Oxygeno, Raffaele Attanasio, Insolate, ANNE, Slin and Steya, establishing himself as a standout figure in today’s techno circuit.
