An underground trip hop act from the local scene.
Oca Collective is a five-piece band from Lisbon, playing trip-hop and hip-hop with an experimental feel. Bass and vocals sit under synths, sequencers, guitar, keys, and alto sax. The songs move slow and land heavy. If Massive Attack, Portishead, and Glass Beams are in your neighbourhood, they’re right next door. Oca started in a thrift shop before it was a band. Connecting artists over a common goal: collaborating and creating. For two years, Oca ran showcases and sessions to achieve those goals. They built the community, now they’re bringing it to the stage.
