oktobernatt
Berlin six-piece oktobernatt combines spacious guitars, powerful vocals, and blooming low end with heartfelt lyrical messaging into a unique, non-symphonic orchestra. Originating from Sweden, Iceland, Germany and Finland, the group of friends met in the vibrant music scene of Berlin in 2024, when Gabriel Jansson Svedberg (vocals), Vignir Vidarsson (bass) and Alban König (guitar) discovered their love for writing songs together at a studio session. After approaching Ole von Garrel (drums), Myra Amneskog (keyboard) and Joona Keturi (guitar) with their vision for a musical project, they started working on new material which later developed into the band oktobernatt, completing the line-up. Soon after its formation the band started playing their first shows and working on a wealth of material, recording first demos and establishing novel and carefully crafted sounds. In the second half of 2025 the group returned to the studio after a number of shows in Sweden and Germany, starting the recording of their debut EP at Trixx Studios in Berlin. Come November 2025, they issued their first ever release “Vonin”, closely followed by “Rasa” in January 2026, a song about being stuck in a hopeless relationship and feeling the frustration of seeing your efforts wasted. The young band continues to develop their sound, experimenting with expansive arrangements and growing through their roots in guitar-based indie rock approaching the release of their debut EP in March 2026.
