Based in Berlin and shaped by years spent between Lyon's club culture and the city’s restless dancefloors, he moves through progressive trance, speed garage and rave music without treating them as fixed genres. His sound is driven by elastic basslines, bright synths, broken rhythms and melodies that carry a strange mix of nostalgia and forward motion. There is energy in his music, but rarely aggression for its own sake. Orcus prefers tension that slowly opens up, grooves that feel physical without becoming mechanical, and euphoric moments that arrive slightly sideways. His sets can move from rolling progressive tracks to UK-influenced rhythms, trance pressure and playful rave cuts, always with the same intention: keeping the dancefloor moving while creating the feeling of entering a world of its own. With releases on Minuit Rapide, Coalition, Aurora or Milliampère, and appearances at venues including About Blank and Lokschuppen, Orcus is developing a sound that is warm, rhythmic and emotionally charged ; somewhere between synthetic nature, faded rave memories and a sunrise that may never have existed.
