An underground death metal act from the local scene.
Drawing inspiration from throughout extreme metal, Scottish 4 piece PENNY COFFIN utilise sinister riffage and an onslaught of caustic drumming, alongside demonic, suffocated vocals, and miasmic guitar atmospherics, to create some brilliantly harsh and claustrophobic death metal. The band thundered in to view with their debut physical release in 2022, a compilation of both early recodings “ΤΕΦΡΑ" (The ash of human remains) and “ΣΚΕΛΕΤΙΚΟ ΣΚΟΤΑΔΙ” (Skeletal darkness). Following in 2023 with EP "CONSCRIPTED MORALLITY" the band gained traction and accolades within underground death metal. Supporting such illumanaries such as Deicide and Eyehategod as well as festival apperances at the likes of London's Necropolis and Beyond the Gates. A pair of singles followed in 2024, along with a first music video cementing their place as an exciting and authetically devasting band in underground scene. Now back with debut full lenght album "Transitory Fragmentation", due November 6th, promising once again to immerse the listener in throes of unrelenting death.
