A high-energy, underground black metal act.
Emerging from the dense forests of Saarland (South-West Germany), a young band dares to step out of the undergrowth. Phosphorus is an ambitious four-piece band that came together in its current form at the beginning of 2024. After an intensive period of writing and refining their dark, atmospheric songs and an extensive phase of self-discovery, they now present themselves as an entity, eager to captivate restless souls and with their music, show them the bottomless pits of the human condition. Musically, Phosphorus summons up a storm of intense, pitch-black passages, thunderous riffs, sharp dissonances, and melancholic melodies, offering a mixture of delicacy and sudden erupting brutality. Thematically, their lyrics explore the timeless, pervasive corruption of human nature and the suffering that inevitably follows. Following their initial live performances, Phosphorus focused on manifesting their work musically. Their debut album with the name “Frail Grasp Of Broken Hands”, a genre-bending spawn, aching to force its way into the listeners ears. For the right sonic attire, they got in touch with Tim de Gieter (MUCH LUV STUDIO), who is known for his work with artists such as Amenra, Brutus, Predatory Void, Throane, and Lethvm. Phosphorus are: • Aaron Feller (Main Vocals, Guitar) • Florian Schütz (Backing Vocals, Guitar) • Lukas Scherer (Drums) • Aline Emge (Bass)
