Pieter de Koe (1994) is an energetic and adventurous cellist with a strong foundation in chamber music. Founder of the acclaimed Animato Quartet, he explores new artistic encounters where sound, movement, and visual art converge. His solo debut album, featuring works by Debussy and Britten and released on Leporello, connects music with hand-printed leporello editions created in collaboration with visual artists. Pieter has performed at festivals and venues including Wonderfeel, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and the Philharmonie de Paris.
