please louise is the solo project of Irish songwriter Louise Macnamara, previously one half of the twin-sister duo Heathers. Inspired by artists like Big Thief, Lucy Dacus, and Snail Mail, the project blends indie folk-pop with introspective lyrics and guitar-driven arrangements. Written during a period of upheaval; dealing with the end of a relationship and moving to Germany during covid, their debut EP, ‘Bury My Head’ explores shifting identity, connection and the search for belonging. The first single of the same name will be out September 9th, with the full EP to follow in early November.
