Proxima Flare is a metal band from Amsterdam and Haarlem, mixing progressive and alternative influences. They make loud guitar music where the drums lead the way and the bass actually matters. Clean vocals tie it all together, giving the band a sound of its own. They’ve released two EPs and are currently working on new music. Their second EP reached over 10,000 streams in the first three months, and they have around 1,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. The band is active on social media, and their online following keeps growing. Over the years, they’ve played plenty of shows across the Netherlands, including opening for Ibuiltthesky, and they’ve also taken their music abroad with a show in Germany.
