The Punch Drunk Pirates are a folk-punk five-piece band, who play original songs exploring emotions and commenting on what it means to experience this funny thing called life! Many of the songs begin as poems, gradually evolving in the studio, as melodies start to develop. The band was formed at the Fitzroy Amateur Boxing Club in 2017, where all the band members have sparred for many years. The Pirates have three albums and several singles on Spotify and other music platforms: they have recorded at a variety of locations, including Abbey Road Studio 3 and Perry Vale Studios. The Pirates put on a vibrant and exciting musical live performance, delivering emotional messages via thought-provoking lyrical content.
