Raised in Chicago and bound for London, DJ and producer r00bies4ever builds dance floors that feel intimate, kinetic, and deeply musical. Her sound flows between hardgroove, tribal, hard house, bounce, club, and hypnotic techno — where groove, melody, and momentum matter more than genre labels. A r00bies4ever set is defined by ear-worm hooks and sculptural pacing, favoring shape and story over the maximalist percussion common in much of today’s techno. In Chicago clubs like Smoke & Mirrors, Cermak Hall, and Smartbar, she’s known for high-voltage sets, deep confidence, and a genuine love for community. Her approach is shaped by classical training in voice, piano, and guitar, with music theory guiding her mixing and track selection. Her debut track “North Star” with Cataract marks the beginning of a new era — radiant, hungry, and unmistakably her.
