REDCHECKS are a Welsh rock band based in Manchester. Bringing sharp songwriting, infectious hooks and an understated yet captivating live energy. Inspired by The Strokes, Nirvana and Manic Street Preachers, their sound combines raw guitars with electronic punchy rhythms with lyrics that tackle social realities with grit, wit and plenty of attitude. Their debut demo 'Matchbox' was named BBC Introducing Track of the Week, leading to the band reaching the Glastonbury Pilton Stage finals and playing venues including The Fleece Bristol, Clwb Ifor Bach, Tramshed Cardiff and New Century Hall Manchester. They've also shared stages with The Futureheads, Delights and Argentina's Pacifica. Now working with acclaimed producer Joe Cross (Courteeners, Hurts, Louis Tomlinson), REDCHECKS are set to release new music in autumn 2026 - with a sound that's abrasive, ambitious and built for the live stage.
