Rey&Kjavik is the alias of Alexander Schomann — DJ and producer from Offenbach, Germany. His musical home lies within the realm of Organic and Deep Electronica — hypnotic grooves and meditative rhythms flowing together in one space. His music reflects his signature approach: immersive, emotional, and grounded in a deep sense of movement and connection. His unique sound world has become instantly recognizable — a blend of depth, warmth, and spiritual drive that resonates far beyond the dance floor. With releases on his own imprint RKJVK, Rey&Kjavik has carved out a distinct voice within electronic music — fluid, evolving, and unmistakably his own. His work extends beyond the club sphere: he curated and produced a Buddha-Bar compilation and his music has been featured in films and television productions around the globe. His sound carries the imprint of his travels and his roots in Frankfurt and Offenbach — cities defined by cultural openness and international energy. It is a dialogue between the global and the local, shaped by exploration, contrasts, and a continuous search for connection through sound. Known for his exceptional feel for remixing and reinterpretation, his reworks for artists such as Danit, Mogli, and Yuma have reached millions of streams worldwide, resonating far beyond genre borders and reinforcing his reputation for creating deeply atmospheric and emotionally charged versions that stand on their own.
