Sam Behr

Sam Behr is an NYC-based multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter and performing artist. While haunting Manhattan piano bars for a living over the past decade, Behr has culturally alienated herself from her generation with an obstinate commitment to “keeping rock n’ roll alive.” Steeping in the art of niche 70s songwriters, progressive and psychedelic rock outfits, and choice musical theatre, Sam has honed a nostalgic yet idiosyncratic sound of her own piano-driven anthems she simply refers to as “circus rock.” Sequestered in her Brooklyn basement over the pandemic, Behr dedicated herself to the prospect of producing her own music, and began building her home studio. In 2024, she debuted her first record, Naked (Live in Bed-Stuy); a 12-track visual album that was recorded live in front of a captive audience in the aforementioned basement studio. Behr is currently in the process of finishing her highly-anticipated first studio album, which is set to be released in 2026.
