Spotify has made many AI/in house bands doing covers of songs, and now “original” “bands” and “music”, placing them on playlists to rack up hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners for each band. This obviously seems like a conflict of interest, along with being stifling to musicians and artists who put actual work, effort, money, and time into their music.
