After years of silence, Second Youth returned last September with Only Child — a record that completely reshaped the band’s identity, introducing a darker, more personal, and emotionally driven direction. Now the band reinforces and fully embraces that evolution with Can’t Call It Home When No One’s Waiting, the new record out June 4th via Anchors Aweigh Records. Building on the emotional weight and honesty of Only Child, the new material pushes even further into themes of disconnection, identity, absence, and personal growth, while still holding onto the urgency and energy that always defined Second Youth.
