An underground, raw indie folk artist.
Silver Birch, is a singerSongwriter/indieFolk artist based in Berne Switzerland. After years as a guitarist and producer Patrick Lerjen first spread his wings as a singer in 2019 and recorded and released 3 albums together with his band since then. Now, for his 4th album, he's switching gears to a super-reduced, acoustic solo-setting. So in summer 2025 he recorded a bunch of new songs in his basement-studio, just acoustic guitars, some sparse piano/keys-parts and Patrick's warm, vulnerable voice. Patrick Lerjen is also part of swiss Kraut-Rock collective Katzenheim . In the past he's also been part of Electric Blanket , Matto Rules, Porok Karpo, Three Base Hit, Don Li 's Tonus Music, Manufactur and others.
