Snax
Snax, aka Paul Bonomo, is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter, performer and DJ, whose roots run the gamut from punk to funk to disco. Hailing from Washington, D.C., then on to San Francisco and New York City, Snax finally settled on the vibrant scene in Berlin. Other milestones include founding gay art band Fagbash, and teaming up with Khan in disco band Captain Comatose. Snax’s albums swing from the electronic soul of From The Rocking Chair To The Stage, to the acoustic funk of Love Pollution, to party record Special Guest Star, to sprawling epic Shady Lights. Snax launched his label Random Records for his various musical projects and collaborations, including gay porn soundtracks by Tony Amherst , and house productions Box Office Poison His latest collab is Snecker , a duo whose trippy sound was developed with Berghain resident DJ nd_baumecker during lockdown. Last year found Snax’s piano expertise featured on Massimiliano Pagliara‘s house banger ‘Snap Out.’ 2024 saw the release of the latest Box Office Poison single ‘No!’ with Berlin drag legend Gieza Poke .
