Solid Space was a British minimal wave duo formed in 1980 that blended primitive drum machines, eerie synthesizers, and science fiction themes. Their cult 1982 cassette Space Museum defined a raw, atmospheric cold wave sound that remained deeply influential in underground electronic music. Decades later, their pioneering synthesizer recordings continue to resonate within contemporary darkwave and minimal synth scenes.
