Hanyo van Oosterom (Rotterdam, 20-08-1959) is a multi instrumentalist, composer and producer. He has explored the roots of indie, punk, jazz, hip hop, funk, trip hop and ambient. Amongst countless projects he is know for his work as founder of Dutch Ambient collective CHI, as well as his work with Jacobus Derwort as Chi Factory. He is currently active with his new project, 'Son Of Chi'.
