Sorrowsight

Sorrowsight is a gothic death/doom metal band from Odesa, Ukraine, founded in 2019 by guitarist Pavlo (Paul) Korovchuk and vocalist Mariia (Mary) Diachenko. Blending heavy riffs, extreme female vocals, and expressive violin melodies, the band creates a unique sound that bridges dark metal intensity with classical elegance. For fans of Ne Obliviscaris, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Paradise Lost Discography: Essence of Existence (album) - 2024; Cruel World (single) - 2021; Enlightenment (single) - 2021 After early lineup changes and the addition of violin, Sorrowsight established their signature style and released their debut singles “Cruel World” and “Enlightenment” in 2021. Their first full-length album, Essence of Existence (2024), was shaped during challenging times, including the full-scale war in Ukraine. Despite being geographically separated, the band continued working remotely on new material. In 2025, they completed writing and recording their second album, Share My Despair, which is scheduled for release in summer 2026.
