Stand High Patrol
An underground dub artist.
The story begins in 2000 in Brittany (France). Two guys decide to create a sound system to share their common passion for reggae. Rootystep (selecta) and MacGyver (operator) begin to collect records and purchase music equipment. They are quickly joined by Pupajim who becomes the MC, the singer and the dub builder of the crew. 20 years later, after the release of six LP the sound is more present than ever. Stand High has created a true musical identity and has established itself as one of the essential sound systems of the French dub scene. The identity of Stand High Patrol comes from the unique voice of its singer and the singular style of his dub. Over the years the sound has developed a particular style integrating a set of personal and eclectic influences to his dub. This style, named “Dubadub” is defined as a subtle blend of dub, reggae, hip hop, new wave, house and trip hop. In 2009, the crew creates "Stand High Records". In 2012, after releasing several records, the Muskateerz present their debut album "Midnight Walkers". In 2015 the Dubadub experience takes on new dimensions with a 2nd album : "A Matter Of Scale". In 2017 they are back with "The Shift" a third LP dedicated to Boom Bap. This was followed in 2018 by Summer on Mars, a dub/future soul LP recorded with Marina P, and in 2020 by the LP Our Own Way. In 2025, They present their sixth album: Underground Oasis. In 2026, they continue to defy boundaries with Skanking & Jacking, a new double LP Dub / House.
