An underground classical artist.
Stephanie Susberich is a composer and soprano whose work explores poetic voice, symbolism, and heightened dramatic lyricism. Her music often bridges historical literary sources with contemporary expressive language, creating sound worlds that are both intimate and mythic in scope. Her debut album Songs of Juana Borrero sets the writings of the visionary 19th-century Cuban poet and reflects the early foundations of her compositional voice. Though rooted in works written during her formative years of study, the release marks a significant artistic milestone, emerging after extensive doctoral and graduate training in music. In addition to her performance and recording career, Dr. Susberich is the founder and curator of the DVSSIMA salon series in New York City, an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to poetic, experimental, and spiritually resonant artistic expression.
Stephanie Susberich creates contemporary classical art songs and chamber music, blending expressive soprano vocals with historical poetry.
Stephanie Susberich is based in New York City, where she also curates the DVSSIMA salon series.
