The world premiere performance of The Lily of Quito, a cantata composed and performed by vocalist Stephanie Susberich in tribute to St. Mariana de Jesús. Scored for solo soprano, strings, piano, classical guitar, flute, percussion, double choir, and Mander organ, the program also highlights works by Joaquín Rodrigo and Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla. The evening begins with a pre-concert composer discussion and concludes with a post-performance reception.
The world premiere takes place on October 28, 2026, at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola located at 980 Park Ave in New York City.
