Born and raised in Beirut, Tarek Yamani is a pianist, composer and producer who he is critically acclaimed for music that is “full of poetry and mysticism” from revisiting the classic traditions of the Arab world through the sophisticated rhythms and harmonies of Jazz. In an invigorating style, Tarek "ingeniously stretches the edges between two eclectic cultures and musical heritages" as heard on his albums "Lisan Al Tarab: Jazz Conceptions in Classical Arabic", and “Peninsular” which explores the rhythms of the Arabian Peninsula.
