The Dive
An underground alternative rock act.
Tracks3
The Dive are an alternative rock outfit from Liverpool, drawing on the tension and momentum of New York post-punk, the immediacy of the early 2000s indie movement and the melodic movements of classic pop songwriting. The band’s interlocking guitars and relentless rhythms allow them to craft music that feels immediate without giving everything away and revealing more with each listen. There’s a quiet sense of melancholy at the heart of the band’s lyrics that brings a sense of yearning to the music along with a feeling of hopefulness. This reflective songwriting evokes a certain nostalgia while having a strong sense of identity in their sound.
