Between the years 1987 and 1992 The KLF worked under various names, including The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, The JAMs, The Timelords and The KLF. In the early 1990s The KLF created a string of global hit singles. In the year 1991 The KLF were the biggest selling singles band in the world. In the year 1992 The KLF chose to delete all of their recorded work. Since the year 1992 several films have been made and books written in an attempt to explore, understand and uncover their work. In the year 2017 K2 Plant Hire Ltd revealed they were beginning work on building the People’s Pyramid. The People’s Pyramid will not be completed until the year 2323. As of the 23rd of August 2023, all of Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond joint filmed work, is being archived at the British Film Institute. As of the 23rd of November 2023, all of Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond joint recorded work, is being archived at the British Library. The KLF Re-Enactment Society exist to re-enact the work of The KLF.
