His music brings together jazz improvisation, Brazilian influences and the expressive lyricism of fado, creating a personal sound rooted in melody, storytelling and musical dialogue. Lageira won the Dutch television competition We Want More and subsequently appeared alongside Mariza on Portuguese national television. He has performed at North Sea Jazz Festival and has established himself as a distinctive voice on the European jazz scene. His latest album, Every Petal Tells A Story (Challenge Records), presents seven original compositions through a series of intimate collaborations with six female artists. Tiago performs on a signature guitar model built by Lodato Guitars.
