Torsten Goods is one of Germany's best and most successful jazz guitarists and jazz-pop/soul singers, or, in short: the “German George Benson“ (Süddeutsche newspaper). The 42 year-old is also co-winner of the German music author prize and has been twice nominated for the Echo Jazz prize, for his six solo albums, most of which were released by the famous jazz label ACT. With countless tours through Germany, Russia, China and Europe along with his own band, Goods is one of the established greats on the international scene. He's also involved in other projects including the musical direction of Sarah Connor's live performances, appearing in concerts with Till Brönner or Nils Landgren and is artistic director of the Festivals Jazz/ and Classic On The Lake in Erlangen.
Torsten Goods plays vocal jazz, smooth jazz, and jazz-pop, blending virtuosic guitar work with soulful vocals and releasing music on the ACT Music label.
