TRAAMS return with the much anticipated announcement of their new album 'personal best', set for a July 22nd release via long-term label Fat Cat. The news is accompanied by a new single titled 'The Light At Night', which features Joe Casey of Protomartyr, and features a new video co-directed by Charlotte Gosch & Lee Kiernan of IDLES, a band - among several who have risen to prominence in recent years - who have long been admirers of the TRAAMS sound. The new single "The Light At Night" is another high quality cut from the band and proffers a biting look into their musical evolution on the new album. Propulsive rhythms meet angular, droning guitars, cyclical synth lines and incisive, almost shamanic, vocals from Joe Casey, which build into him repeatedly spitting “kill the body then the head dies,” with an intensity that is his and his alone.
