Umberto Maria Giardini
Tracks5
Umberto Maria Giardini is one of the most distinctive and visionary voices in contemporary Italian music. Active since the ’90s, he first made his mark under the name Moltheni, becoming a reference point for an entire generation of the independent scene. In 2012 he began a new artistic chapter under his own name, establishing a style that blends lyricism, poetry, and sonic exploration. His albums navigate a landscape where rock, songwriting, and psychedelic atmospheres converge, shaped by a refined sound and a unique sensitivity to words. With each release, Giardini has reinvented himself, gaining a cult following and continuing to inspire new generations of listeners. Olimpo diverso (released by La Tempesta in November 2025), confirms his drive for an ever-evolving musical language: songs that reflect on time, the fragility of the present, and love as the ultimate force of healing and resistance. A visionary journey that reaffirms Umberto Maria Giardini as a bold songwriter who turns music into an emotional and universal experience.
