https://www.valentinakeys.com Valentina is a London-based, Soviet-born singer-songwriter/pianist originally from Odessa on the Black Sea. She is currently working on her third album after independently releasing her first two albums “Love is..” and “Love is Love”. Valentina likes to mix genres and to cross musical as well as cultural borders. This shines through in "Do you ever", “Soulchild”, “Let me show you”, “For every kiss”, “Reflections”, “Beneath the scars” “Somebody” and in the most recent single Sea is Calling. The lockdown version of "Unicorns at Heart" is an anthem for our times and is complemented by a visually captivating musical animation (available on YouTube). Whilst her songs strive to break down convention, lyrical and musical expectations, stylistic labelling, she always stays true to her Ukrainian roots. Her music, enriched with soulful pop ballads, jazzy vibes and James Bondesque overtones, is the stuff of films and takes you on a journey. Be ready to escape...
