A homegrown, nostalgic darkwave artist.
Vestron Vulture began his journey in 2011 after being forced out of a band he co-founded, left with nothing but the drive to build something of his own. Out of that moment came the foundation of the Dethwave movement — a sound that rose from the early days of Retrowave and Synthwave, reshaping their neon nostalgia into something darker and more defiant. His early work would soon make its mark on culture, with music featured on the Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack and several retro-inspired films. As time moved forward, so did his sound. A brief foray into the Witch House scene in the late 2010s brought out his fascination with shadow, texture, and atmosphere — giving Dethwave a colder, more enigmatic form. By 2019, following a failed side project, the Lionheart era began: a new chapter drenched in melancholy, isolation, and emotional intensity. Vestron Vulture remains a symbol for the outcasts — a straight-edge artist with a hardcore spirit, unafraid to confront decay and beauty in the same breath. His music stands as a testament to endurance, reinvention, and the will to keep creating, no matter what comes next. Dethwave is forever. Website: dethwave.com Contact: vestronvulture@gmail.com
