Vicky Bee is a force to be reckoned with in the Greek as well as the international stage. A soul-stirring vocalist with a strong and energetic delivery, her repertoire is quite extensive and far reaching into genres one wouldn’t readily expect. She can do rock as well as jazz with the same ease that she does funk, blues and soul. She has collaborated with several nationally as well as internationally known artists. From Alex Foster (Tina Turner, Paul McCartney), Vic Martin (Gary Moore band), Mark Zonder (Fates Warning, A to Z), to Greek artists like Lia Vissi, Yiannis Zouganelis or Yiannis Koutras, Vicky Bee has always chosen projects of both artistic integrity and musical value. Her powerful soul voice lends not only value to the projects she participates in, but also helps showcase them to a discerning audience. Recently Vicky Bee has also participated in the Global Music Awards winner project by Christos Tambouratzis "The Other Side of my Soul". "Groove On" is the first studio album by the prolific funk, soul and blues performers Plastic People and their lead singer Vicky Bee. Featuring some of Greece’s premier funk, soul and blues instrument masters, "Groove On" builds on a diverse performance experience, orchestrated by main composer and band leader John Skyllas.
