An underground shoegaze act.
“Waves Crashing has always been a hot prospect, In The Blur more than lives up to the faith we have put in them. The next chapter starts here.” - The Big Takeover “Waves Crashing have crafted one of the year’s strongest rock releases thus far in Effection, which excels in its range from serene contemplation to rousing rock ferocity.” - Obscure Sound “A glorious and bright new future for the genre. Somewhere between dream-pop and shoegaze… Effection is nothing if not forward thinking.”- The Big Takeover “Effection, there is so much about it that is refreshingly retro. Take a look around the current alternative rock scene, and you won’t find much that sounds like this anymore.” - V13 "Melds retro awe with forward-thinking ferocity. This is music for anyone who's ever reeled a Fender Twin to max just to feel alive". - Buzzy Band “The Viewing EP, is an essential collection for those into the modern shoegaze sounds.” - Austin Town Hall
