Winter Gardens blend the hazy textures of dream-pop with the urgency and drive of post-punk. The sound moves fluidly between shimmering shoegaze atmospheres and propulsive, rhythm-led intensity, balancing moments of introspection with bursts of raw energy. Layers of reverb-soaked guitars and melodic basslines intertwine with driving percussion, creating a sound that feels both expansive and immediate. Immersive and emotionally charged, Winter Gardens capture a sense of movement and release, equal parts tension and lift, resulting in a distinctive “dreampunk” style that continues to resonate with audiences and critics alike. 2026 has been a landmark year for Winter Gardens. The band returned from New York after performing at New Colossus Festival, followed by appearances at Rockaway Beach and Brighton's Great Escape Festival, where they played a packed Concorde 2. Continued support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and KEXP, alongside a BBC Live Lounge session, has helped grow the band's audience both in the UK and internationally. With new music arriving throughout the year, a forthcoming EP and a headline UK tour on the horizon, Winter Gardens continue to establish themselves as one of the most exciting emerging voices in gothic, shoegaze and post-punk. “Masters of ethereal shoegaze and post-punk fusion” - Atwood Magazine "Textural, dreamy and delectably melancholic" - Backseat Mafia “A brooding blend of shoegaze, psychedelia & rock” - Notion
