Formed in Rome in 2019, Wizard Master has carved out a sinister niche in the international underground heavy scene. Blending classic 1970s doom with gritty blues, backmasked rituals, and psychedelic occult rock, the band delivers a fuzzed-out, groove-driven sonic experience that is both retro and menacingly fresh.The band made their mark with their 2022 debut album, Phasmatis, introducing listeners to muddy riffs and Hammer Horror sampling centered around the lore of "The Great Wizard". They followed up in 2023 with Ablanathanalba via Electric Valley Records, weaving dark commentary on modern ephemerality into heavy, hypnotic psych-blues textures.The year 2026 marks a turning point. Taking full control of their occult vision, Wizard Master launched their independent label, Füneral Division Records. Under this banner, they unleash their highly anticipated album, V.I.T.R.I.O.L., on July 14, 2026—deepening their ritualistic journey through relentless down-tuned distortion and unyielding sonic violence.To promote the record, the four-piece has launched a summer campaign, including their first UK tour, highlighted by a slot at the UK's Stone Fest. Wizard Master will also bring their crushing sound to Portugal in August 2026 for a coveted slot at the renowned SonicBlast Fest.
