YALANA

YALANA is a Los Angeles-based alternative rock artist whose story is about coming back to the dream she once left behind. From the age of 16 to 24, she performed with a rock band before stepping away from the stage and building a career behind the scenes in entertainment. For the next 15 years, she worked in PR and marketing, helping artists and entertainment projects find their audience and become visible. But the dream of making music never disappeared. Years later, while continuing her career in PR and marketing, YALANA returned to songwriting, recording, and performing - this time with a different perspective and something real to say. Blending alternative rock and pop-rock with influences including Evanescence, Linkin Park, and Avril Lavigne, her music explores childhood trauma, mental health, rejection, self-discovery, and finding your voice after years of living by other people’s expectations. Songs like “Good Girl” turn deeply personal experiences into music for anyone who has ever been silenced, underestimated, told “no,” or convinced they had missed their chance.
