Zamar-Eden is a South East London-based bassist, singer, producer, and composer whose music blends neo-soul, jazz, Afrobeat, and Highlife. Rooted in her Jamaican and Sierra Leonean heritage, she creates music that honours the richness of Black musical traditions while exploring themes of identity and community. Beginning her creative journey as a bedroom producer, she picked up the bass in 2020—a turning point that reshaped her relationship with music and performance. Since then, she has become a distinctive voice in London's jazz and alternative music scene, performing with Steam Down, playing bass for Xambi, and developing her craft through Tomorrow's Warriors. As both an artist and community curator, Zamar-Eden is committed to creating spaces that nurture collaboration and celebrate the enduring influence of Black music. Her work is driven by a desire to create music that feels honest, soulful, and expansive, where tradition and experimentation exist side by side.
