A gritty, underground sludge metal night.
The crushing YOB return to Athens for a triumphant, long-awaited performance. After eight years, the band from Oregon brings their massive, monolithically slow sound to the Kyttaro stage for a one-off European headline appearance. Known for their unique blend of doom metal and spiritual inquiry, the band's music is described by founder Mike Scheidt as a communal medicine, an experience of total surrender to a pulverized sound. Joining them as special guests are the Athenian psychedelic doom/black metal group Automaton, who will be presenting their third full-length album, Labyrinth. This evening marks a celebration of YOB's 25-year career, offering a space for transcendence through the sheer mass of their atmospheric and aggressive compositions.

The performance occurs on October 12, 2026, at Kyttaro Live Club, situated at the intersection of Acharnon and Ipeirou in Athens.
