Cinemanita has been a weekly fixture at de Nieuwe Anita for twenty years, offering a film night hosted and programmed by Jeffrey Babcock. The screenings typically feature old films curated with a contemporary perspective. Following the film, the evening continues with music provided by a different DJ every week. Fiber Factory runs alongside the event as a weekly textile art club. Participants can join to create something using donated yarn, with guidance available for beginners and social opportunities for more experienced crafters. The textile session includes access to inspirational books, and materials like wool and needles are provided for use.
