8MM & Shameless Limitless present a three-act night featuring Brooklyn dream pop artist mal sounds, Caribbean-American musician TALIA, and experimental interdisciplinary artist che ali. Amal Salem performs as mal sounds, creating dream pop born from a period of isolation in Valencia. The project melds hazy guitar layers and noisy ambience with a pop sensibility. TALIA blends acoustic and electronic sounds to build cinematic, ethereal worlds. Her sound lives between the organic and the digital, characterized by intimate lyrics and kinetic energy. che ali (Che Buford) is a violinist and composer whose practice integrates objects, voice, movement, and poetry, focusing on memory and introspection.
