A performance by the forward-thinking prodigy of Indian percussion, Ishaan Ghosh. As the grandson of the legendary Nikhil Ghosh, Ishaan was traditionally trained on the tabla but fearlessly experiments with electronic dance music and folk traditions from around the globe. This concert features a new generation of musicians representing the future of Indian music, including Sabir Sultan Khan on sarangi, Krishna Musale on dholki, and vocalist Manjoor Khan. Part of the 'Traces of India' series, the afternoon explores a rich arsenal of musical influences from Iran to Brazil.
