AWOO La Rave takes over Planet Wax for a special daytime fundraiser in support of Focus Congo. AWOO La Rave is an online platform and inclusive event series centered on People of Color (POC) artists, founded by artist Teddy Kitano. Blending rave and electronic culture with heavy bass, chiptune, and gaming-inspired visuals, the collective is known for its live-streamed DJ sets and bold visual identity. For this one-off fundraiser, expect an afternoon of high-energy back-to-back sets from a stacked lineup of DJs spanning breakbeat, grime, jungle, and rave. All proceeds go directly to Focus Congo, supporting their Nyota Yetu Center project, providing a home for orphans and an educational hub empowering children, youth, and women in Goma, DRC.
