This evening marks a paradigm shift in the work of double bassist Holger Scheidt. Throughout his career, Scheidt has focused primarily on purely acoustic and instrumental jazz in various group formats. However, the experience of isolation during the pandemic led to a new approach. Forced to play in solitude, he began to expand his double bass playing with electronic effects units and rediscovered his love for singing. This performance showcases his evolution from purely acoustic jazz to an expanded sonic palette incorporating electronics and vocals. Doors open at 20:00, concert starts at 21:00.
