A queer, underground nu jazz night.
British/Italian musician margomool presents a unique fusion of jazz-inspired electronic music with folk and soul. Based in South-East London, the vocalist and producer explores themes of queer existence and empathy through their improvisational practice. Described as ‘convention-smashing’, margomool has collaborated with artists like Allysha Joy and shared stages at festivals such as Love Supreme. This performance is part of Queer Jazz, a monthly programme at The Vortex Jazz Club dedicated to platforming and celebrating innovative LGBTQI+ artists in the emerging jazz scene.
