In this edition of the series, tap dance takes center stage, connected to the rich Jazz tradition of the 30s. This energetic afternoon program for the whole family combines stories, music, and dance. Marieke Hetjes, a tap dancer, teacher, and choreographer, takes you through the history of how music and movement merged into pure performance, featuring legends like Bill Robinson and The Nicholas Brothers on screen. The afternoon includes a tap dance workshop where you can learn basic steps and jazz improvisation, concluding with a Tap After Party.
