Blending jazz-funk with atmospheric post-rock edges, the group is known for a groove-heavy, melodic sound and 70s-inspired production. Formed through Tomorrow’s Warriors, they earned recognition after winning the 2021 Emerging Artist Competition. Soul of the South celebrates high-quality live music, aiming to keep it accessible and authentic by putting the focus back on the performance.
